Invite links – ^slink^

Survey Invite Links

There are 4 different types of piped links to include in invite emails

·         ^slink^ – this will create the HTML for inserting a link, if used with Link text, it will display the text to click rather than link to click. This can also be HTML. This link is always HTTP.

·         ^secureslink^ – this will create the HTML for inserting a link, if used with Link text, it will display the text to click rather than link to click. This can also be HTML. This link is always HTTPS.

·         Above subject, is a Parameters box. If you needed to add parameters to the url, just type it in there i.e. wave=1, customerType=3. This will get autoadded to both ^slink^ and ^secureslink^

·         ^surl^ – this will output ONLY the survey URL. No HTML whatsoever. This allows you to control differences in the link from survey to something else, e.g. ^slink^ for normal, then <a href=^surl^&unsubscribe=yes>Click here to unsubscribe</a>. This can be used to separate parameters between URLs as much as Text-only + HTML links.

^surl^ can be used multiple times within one email invite

<a href=”^surl^”><b>Complete this short survey</b>

This will enable you to have more than one type of survey entry in a single email invite

If you are looking to have a button image as the survey link, this can be done using the sample code below. Place the HTML into the “Custom Survey Link Text” field on the email page.
